and
Tatyana Yassenov,
bring a variety of different cultures, artistic
backgrounds and life experience to their Live Art
Readings. They are immigrants from Russia, Taiwan and
Ireland; a farmer, school teacher, college professor,
painter, psychologist, business owner, poet, dancer,
professional actress, director and playwright. They met
in the mid-90s while collaborating on Grandparents
Living Theatre’s The Woman’s Show in
Columbus, Ohio, and formed HOWLING AT THE MOON in August
2002 for the 2002 International Senior Theatre League of
America’s Festival at Ohio State University.
Preserving her own unique voice and style in poetry and
prose, each company member engages in an intimate
conversation with the audience.
